As we were leaving West Yellowstone, we decided to visit the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center. This non-profit organization rescues all sorts of animals. The bears had become too used to people and were scheduled to be put down by the park authorities. The wolves came from a group that had been owned by people and then given up. They, also, were not able to be released into the wild.

It was a rainy and overcast day, so neither the light nor the subjects were at their best.

Comments and suggestions are welcome.

Great bear shots, Mike, and the wolves look contented. I didn’t know they had that center there. We have a similar center here, just south of Anchorage. I wonder if the two facilities are related in some way. Thanks for sharing those.

Outstanding! The poses are wonderful. The bear with crows-the first shot- is a story unto itself! Thanx for sharing.

Thanks, Greg, it was raining, so we decided to check it out. Of course, I am happy that we did.

I think these images are quite good despite the conditions, Mike.
