As I've mentioned before, I can't delete any photos, especially plant/flowers. I am determined to clean up my "stuff" file. I came across this shot and there is it that I love...maybe the color red (which is always a bonus). In any case, it was not the sharpest shot, so played with it for some time. I actually got it to work well with about 15 different topaz 2 presets. This was one of my favorites. Now I must go, because my family thinks I am MIA. Thanks for looking

I like it also. It shows there is hope for all of us in some of the photos we like but are not quite right.

Beautiful Fran. Do you use Looks or Filters or both? Do you stack them?

Excellent Fran. Proof you can make a silk purse out of a sow's ear....
Many of my favorite photo's are created from far less than favorite pics.

The pops of red are eye-candy! Think I'd run screaming from the room if I found 15 looks I liked. I can barely choose among five or so

Javk, first, thank you. I'll do lots of prep in PS. I often use both filters and looks. If just sharpening didn't quite give me the edges I am going for I'll start with "a touch of drama" in Topaz2 and take it from there. I often stack the looks, until I get what I like. It's a lot of trial and error. The bones of this picture were so good that I was able to get about 15 different edits ranging from modern to painterly.

Bigdaddy, first thank you. It's a great feeling when you can fix something, because you saw something beautiful in the first place

There is something about the color red! I've been working with the original for several days (I liked it that much) So I went from 1 so-so shot i liked to 15 pics I like better! So much for cleaning up
