Very engaging with that effect and the subtle darkness surrounding the bright light. I also like the composition very much, those huge concrete (?) forms anchoring the tower.

I believe those concrete barriers are there to protect the light from the huge waves and ice that can be generated on Lake Superior.

I am viewing this on an IPAD, so I really had to blow it up to see the oil painting effect. But I do like the composition, and lighting.
