Freestyle mail order, Adorama, B&H ?. I have not actually shot film in some time, though I have film cameras and film (including one last cassette of 35mm Plus-X). So film is super expensive right now? What is not?

For new film, I use mail order: primarily B&H, also KEH. I primarily shoot expired film I purchase in bulk, most from sales here on UHH. I just get it and put in my freezer, along with some of the fresh I know I won't shoot before the expire date. What I think I'll shoot in the next 6 months, I keep defrosted in the fridge.

I buy it from Amazon.

You might consider posting this question on the Film section here on UHH.

No worries it’s ok. Sometimes people post more than one place.

I thought you might get more info on the film category section.

Roberts Photo in Indianapolis--you can find them online. They sell a lot of film and have a fresh supply on hand all the time.

What film do you shoot?

Since you last had a roll loaded, there's probably been some changes. Fujifilm Neopan 100 Acros II is "back" as this v II after the film had been dropped a few years ago. Very high contrast, great in full sun.

(color) Kodak Gold 200 has been added in the 120 format.

(color) Fuji Pro 400H had been discontinued in all speeds and formats.

(color) Kodak ProImage 100 is available in the US market.

(color slide) Kodak Ektachrome E100 is back.

(color slide) FUJIFILM Velvia 50 is back.

What film do you shoot? br br Since you last had ... (show quote)

- I always used Kodak Color Plus. I heard once that Fuji leaves a green cast on the pictures..... I don't know if that is true, but I always stayed away from it for that reason. But I'll try the Neopan 100 - sounds good, THANKS

Have and still do get my film from B & H. One thing I don't like is most of the time all I can fine is 36 exposures 35mm film. I like 24 exposures 35mm film. At one time many years ago use to be able to get 8 and 10 exposures 35mm film. which was great for testing out a camera.

In the Age of Film, I kept all my film in the freezer except what I expected to use very soon. Now, I use it as soon as I can, then get it developed “immediately”.

Last year I bought a lot of Color Plus 200 for $5 per 36 exp roll. Now, I notice it costs $15-$17 or more per roll, IF you can find it! I still have a bunch of film, so haven't needed to buy much this year.
