sad news of the passing of a fellow photographer and friend

I posted this memorial on Flickr this morning after learning of Rich Taylor's passing. Although we never met in person with he being in Australia, and I in the Untied States, Rich and I developed a bond and friendship of over 20 years both here on UHH, Flickr, and before that on Digital Photography School (DPS) I, along with many others who got to know Rich will miss him. He was one of the best action auto racing photographers that I ever knew! God bless you mate!

That is very sad indeed. Richard was a gentleman, an amazing photographer, and was very supportive of educational topics we used to post in For Your Consideration section of UHH.

yes he was a real gentleman and family man. I always enjoyed his family and travel photos, and certainly his auto racing photos. He and I go back a long time, and I treasured the friendship I had with him. He will be missed!
