Queen Conch Image Taken In 2018. Here is a non-traditional 5-7-7-5 Haiku to go with it.

Behold the wonder
Inside so soft and tender
Outside so hard and fancy
Sea shell forever

Nice work. I have not been a big fan of Haiku, but I like your work on this one very much. Keep it up.

I know the shell photo is good, I was concerned that my first attempt at haiku would be poor.

Great photo and one of these days I hope to find such a shell. Would not keep it would leave it for
others to enjoy.

Keep up the good work.

The lighting is very nice and the image a good study. I don’t think I am a fan of the text. Being literal, the soft body structure of a snail being aesthetically appealing is a reach. Fascinating from a scientific perspective, but not from a poetic view. Just me, but it is a very appealing image.

I asked to be kind (about the Haiku). Guess what, I'm a biologist as well as a photographer. And have collected Sea Shells since around age 5, so gastropods are not unappealing to me as living animals.

Are you going to dislike another's Haiku

because pollen from the thistle might cause an allergic reaction in some people and pets? Different stokes for different folks.

Nice photo and haiku. The conch is actually quite soft and tender and is a delicacy enjoyed by many. Conch sandwiches are popular in the Florida Keys. Thanks for sharing.
