i looked dirt dauber up and they have a thinner waist

Mr. B correctly identified it as a scoliid wasp. They are considered to be quite beneficial as a natural control of pest destructive beetles so welcome them when you see them. By the way, the males do not sting and the females will most often only sting if they are mishandled.
thanks guys,when i saw him or her i thought it to be a good guy,he was collecting alot of pollen,i wish i got a sharper picture,but i'll keep trying!!
