The other day as I was home working on some pictures, I glanced out the window and saw a large black butterfly fluttering around my flowering bush. I grabbed my camera with it's 24-105 lens and went out, but the butterfly was being bashful and wouldn't let me get close. After several attempts, the butterfly flew off, without me getting any shots.
The next day, the butterfly returned but this time I had my 70-300 tele on the camera and, again the butterfly was playing around the flowers. I stood back about ten feet from the bush and waited for the butterfly to come closer. This time I was able to get a couple of shots before the butterfly, again flew off.

The second shot is fantastic!!!
The first while colorful is just too soft on focus of the Butterfly Looks like the focus is on the bush.

Thanks for the review Manglesphoto, the first photo had a bit of the Bird of Paradise flower in front of the Swallowtail butterfly so the camera's autofocus latched onto it.
