If the 2022 election is not stolen like the 2020 was and we get good conservatives in who boot McConnell out of leadership his handlers have to be terrified.

If the Republicans gain control of the Senate, I really doubt that McConnell will lose his bid to become majority leader. McConnell and Schumer are both embedded so deeply, I doubt they could be beaten. McConnell has lots of swamp allies and has a boatload of cash to get what he wants.

I knew McConnell when he was involved in Jefferson County (Kentucky) politics (1960's). He was a master at concealing his intents; always played everything very close to the vest.
