Hadn't been here in a while and was surprised to find that camping is no longer allowed along the rim. And that was fine with me.
Somehow I suspect you weren't just driving by and grabbed this shot with your cell phone
Stunning, breathtaking, emotionally impactful.

Alas and alack, I'd left my cell phone in its holder in the Jeep. So I had to use a device --a camera-- that I couldn't order a pizza with. Next time I won't be so neglectful.
Beautiful and the lighting is great.
Another beauty, Jim! Is this part of the NP system?

No, but it's along the way to, and is not all that far away from, ISKY and/or Dead Horse Point S.P. When you went to Dead Horse, you'd have passed by the graded track that heads left and leads to Long Canyon (and several similar such places on top the mesa). There is, however, a good 4WD road that descends LC and accesses Rte 279 (the road along the river) near the Potash Plant.

A stunner to be sure! Glad you didn't have to evict any derelict campers to get that beautiful scene on sensor!!

Image looks good, but then the download jumps out at you like scenic overload - in the best way
