Hey JR,
Just stars. I'm still trying to get them right. Going to try tonight with ND filters.
Hey JR,
Right now, all I'm trying to do is get a good exposure. When I enlarge to 100%, I get 4 points om most stars, instead of one. I'm going to try f16, with an ND filter tonight. I've got a 2,4,8 and 16. Maybe if I fool around with them I'll get a good one.

All you need to do is, what I did f9or the constellation

30 second or less exposures stacked together will give you more splendid photos than what I am seeing. Hey! open your camera's settings in mid December for the next meteor shower!

I'm wondering why shots like these are not being posted in the Astronomical forum. Lots of moon shots too recently that should also have been posted there.
If you look, there are a few postings there. Somehow shots like yours and the others I've mentioned should go there, or that forum should be abandoned.
Wondering what the two co-moderators of that forum are thinking, when they see this.
I can see why some people would want to see how there equpment can capture the skys. But for me, if I want to see astronomical photography, I would go to those sites that really open up the vast beauty of the sky with instruments like the Hubble, shots from spacecraft, etc.
Just wondering.

Possibly because no one is perfect and we all make an occasional mistake where we post.
