The Woodward Dream Cruise, which is about 25 years old now, is an informal parade of 'classic' cars that goes up and down Detroit’s Woodward Ave., M1, on one Saturday a year. I like shooting it because the car people don’t mind it, expect it, and even like their cars being shot. So I will oblige them.
The lighting was varied this year, sunny to overcast. To get a good group shot it takes a lot of waiting to find the right mix of cars without the ubiquitous non-classic ones in the mix. The first two shots are rare in that sense.
