I got to thinkin' that maybe everyone might like this instead of just the few following an old thread.
Circular abstract is a post processing procedure that one of our club members brought to a meeting one night. There was so much interest that he wrote up instructions as to how to do it in PhotoShop. Not having PS, I converted the commands to use in Corel's PaintShop Pro. Then everyone did an abstract for a club night. This procedure can be used on any photo, and it will give some interesting effects. The short story is that you turn a photo inside out. The following is what I started with, then what I created.
I do have the instructions in a notebook someplace. I can dig them out if anyone is interested.
The flamed painted deck lid of a '32 Ford, with reflections of the clouds.
For me? All for MEEEEEEE?!?
You're much too generous, I'T. And since that's actually the case, be sure to have that <my!> image printed on top quality felt, ok? And bear in mind that though my round pool table is 3' 10 & 7/16ths inches in diameter, you'll want to have it printed such that it includes a 2"~3" border that can be tucked under the slate.
As regards the image, though, it's pretty trippy. Hope the swirls and flames and pinstripes don't confuse me when I go to make a bank shot.
