lentils & mashed potatoes?
Something completely different I have shot tonight. I used a light box and taped on top a sheet of polarizing film and placed a plastic shot glass on top. Mounted my camera on a tripod with a polarizing filter fitted to the lens, turn the filter until you get a dark background and this will give the best color in the plastic, the colors are actually the stress lines within the plastic. All the editing is done in Photoshop
Plastic cup as shot
Saturation and sharpen
Tiled and colors changed in each cup
Tiled twice, polar co=ordinates and border
Manipulated in 3D
Totally stressed
In a twirl
