Nice pictures; you should have more of Santa Barbara - especially the Old Mission and Courthouse (MUCH photographed). I was born and raised in Santa Barbara. The house we lived in (until I graduated from UCSB in 1950), at 812 De La Vina Street, was owned by my grandmother. The materials for its construction had been brought around the Horn by a sea captain, in his sailing vessel, many years before. It now has been preserved as an example of some sort of architecture, and is at the Bird Refuge - down by East Beach.

Thank you Frank! It was supposed to be a much longer trip but I shortened it; too many memories.

I agree but I was there the weekend of the Hispanic Festival. Wonderful but lots of traffic, crowds, closed streets. Hard to get to the good stuff.
