Thanks to all. These plants like a lot of sunlight and do not bloom well in shady light.

Mine are in full western exposure. Maybe nust need more time. Do you use a bloom fertilizer?

Never, the Plumeria is a Mexico and Central America Native. It is right at home in Southern Ca. I just stick them in hole in the ground and water. I have one large red flowering plant that only blooms after I prune the small Acacia tree that shades it from the Sun.

I'll have to figure out what works here. I put them in pots because they'll need to come in over our winter.

I have a couple in 10 inch Clay pots for small plants below 24 inches and they love it. The clay pots do not hold water well and the plant likes well drained soil. Fertilizer with high nitrogen applied at the wrong time will put your plant in grow overdrive which will screw with its blooming or flowering.
