We're going on a AAA tour in late August. Taking d7200, Tamron 70-200 g2, Tamron 150-600 g2, Sigma 17-50 f2.8. Recommendations?
if you find yourself in Waterton then Cameron Falls

Sure he doesn't mean for equipment?
"Suggestions/recommendations"
is a wee bit ambiguous.
Equipment and/or suggestions of places and sites to see and photograph. Thanks for helping to make my request clearer.
I assume at some point you will be in Banff.
If your tour does not include Jasper, rent a car and drive to Lake Louise and then on to Jasper. Spectacular!

In Southwest Alberta, check out highway 6 and 22 from near Pincher Creek northward to near Calgary. I believe this highway, and the Icefields Highway, present some of the finest scenery in North America. Don't hurry - dwaddle !
Following. We are headed there right after Labor Day. Planning to bring D850, 28-300mm (or maybe 24-120?) and 16-35mm f4. Like the OP, looking for advice on both equipment and sights to photograph.

We were in GNP last summer. I took mostly landscape shots, spectacular scenery! We stayed on the Eastern side of the park mostly. The highway through the park wasn't open yet. I understand it is a must if it is open.
If you want to take photos of creatures a long lens is a must. Using a 500mm f/4 lens with a 1.4 TC I needed to do extensive crops using my D850 to get bears and goats. Your D7200 and 150-600 g2 will work nicely, but don't forget a tripod.
Here are a couple of photos to wet your appetite.

In Glacier, 1st, I hope you have reservations. Going to the Sun Road is a must. It's spectacular. As you gaze up @ the stunning mountains & landscapes, don't forget to look down around your feet. The wildflowers are amazing.

Brings back memories.... We did not have balcony but were privy to those bears going across the slopes late afternoon from our window. Many Glacier lodge is really something. I have to say I was a little nervous walking those trails alone during the day.
Glacier NP is great. You'll love it. I mostly did landscape shots with my 24-105. Grizzlies taken with the 100-400. You need reservations to do the Going to the Sun road unless you are staying in the park. It's a must. I also highly recommend driving out to Bowman Lake. It is a challenging drive down a dirt road with lots of potholes. A 4WD is not required, but it's slow going. You need to plan on going there first thing in the morning. Parking is limited and once the spots fill up they stop you from driving to the lake until folks leave.
Here's a link to some of the shot from my visit last Oct.

You're going on a tour. I suggest you take those photos available on the tour. You don't have much choice otherwise, unfortunately. That's why I don't do tours.

Thanks everyone for recommendations, hints, and pictures. I'm looking forward to the trip more and more!
