Voigtlander Brillant Metal Camera

A friend of mind came by today and give me a this Voigtlander which has a f 4.5 75mm lens. The camera has a major problem. The mirror inside the camera is loose. Does anyone known how to get inside the camera to fix the mirror? From the ser.# I was able to find that the camera was made in 1936. The condition of the camera is very good. Thank you.

Maybe check with Spencers camera. Camera guts are a part of their livelyhood.

The TLRs that I’m familiar with have screws that hold the top viewing screen assembly in place that can be removed and the whole assembly lifted off for access to the mirror box.

Unless I missed it, could you provide something like a model number or name of the camera other than Voigtlander so we can at least see the type of camera it is. Is it a medium frame camera or a 35mm?

I'm guessing that with a fixed 75mm lens that it's a medium format.

Yes, I am too but it would help to know more about the camera. They are known as pretty good cameras and if repaired may be a useful tool or at least something to play with.

A photo or two would help
No mirrors from what I read and the ones I have seen they are all range finders
