Ashli got what she asked for. Whether she deserved it is up for debate.
But, when you are part of an unruly crowd breaking down the doors to the House chambers, and you climb through a broken window while an LEO is on the other side telling you not to...guess what you invite upon yourself.
What else should the cop have done? Quietly take her into custody while the rest of the rioters continue to break down the doors or perhaps follow her through the broken window?
Maybe he should have asked the rioters to line up so he could take them into custody one at a time...
Turns out she was unarmed. How could he know that? She was wearing a backpack obscured by a trump flag cape...could have had a bomb.
