Re-edited this shot , not much luck involved with this one , knowing that it was Cold , early morning with just a slight breeze i was fairly sure on this birds flight path on leaving his rock , so i put myself right in it lol , i was not disappointed it did almost exactly what i expected him to do , love it when a plan comes together , large eagles need lift to get airborne and are basically lazy and dont like using their wings to do that , so a cold morning often sees them reluctant to fly 😂Wedge-tailed Eagle flinders ranges
Good catch!
I know of the Flinders Ranges from a book I read. A mining geologist, Reginald Sprigg, stumbled upon the largest bed of Precambrian fossils yet discovered. That period is now called the Ediacara. The area in Nilpena is an Australian National Heritage Site.
