I am looking for a camera strap that connects to the 2 lugs on each side of the camera. I also don’t want anything with a quick release. I would love leather or something that is comfortable around the neck. Using a Nikon D610 and D850 with motor drive and 300 mm lens or maybe a little larger. Thanks

I have far more camera bodies than straps that I use, and all of them are quick release, mostly Op-Tech. I can use the same strap on my D850 as I do on my 5D mk IV or M50. I also have a few harnesses with quick release connections that are compatible with pretty much all my interchangeable lens camera bodies. I even have quick release connectors on my larger lenses and have never once has a single problem with any of the quick release connectors, never. Also, I have motor drives for most of my ILC's. I believe Op-Tech also makes non QD straps.

UpStrap - Quick secure releases, broad TOTALLY non-slip shoulder pad. If you do tripod work quick releases are a must, especially in windy conditions.

I've been an UpStrap user for more than 10 years. I can't say enough good things about that company. However, no quick-releases was specified by the OP.

Using large lenses youj should support by the tripod collar as the lens weight cen bend the contact ring per Nikon.

Many of the better modern straps today have quick release features. Most people who use them find a quick release to be very convenient. I use the straps made by Peak Design. Their quick release anchors will not disengage accidentally.

After trying various straps, I now have the ones that I really love. Peak Design is made of the same material that your seatbelt is made of. Easy to use. Once you have tried a Peak Design it will be your forever camera strap. They are top notch!

Any neck camera strap for a D850 with vertical grip attached and a 300mm or larger lens attached is not good for your neck or back.
I would suggest a Cotton Carrier for such a set up.

I use an EDDYCAM Strap. They are made of Elk leather and are so soft and comfortable. The only down side is that they are a little pricey. https://en.eddycam.com
