1964 Ford Falcon Sprint, V-8
Good shots. I know the car was popular but I never understood the attraction.

Nice captures KT. That last one's a beauty.

I think the attraction is that it's a small, compact, pretty nice looking car with a peppy V-8. I'm in my 70's and have had a good number of cars and I'd be happy with this Falcon. Not necessarily in my top ten, but a respectable looking car none the less. Not everybody's cup of tea...I'll give you that.

There are people in the collector car world who claim this car has dual distinctions. 1). It spawned the Mustang on its platform. 2). Tied with 1964 Pontiac Tempest GTO as the first "muscle cars." This vehicle, depending on which V-8 engine it has would be a street legal race car today. Fun machine then, and fun machine today. Thanx for bringing it to us.

Great shots! Owned a 1963 1/2 red Falcon Sprint. 260, Borg-Warner T-10. Quick and fun to drive.

My first car was a 1964 Ford Falcon.

Mine too although it was an 8-year-old vehicle when I paid the princely sum of $250 for it. Not overly peppy with only a six and a 3-speed on the column that once pulled out in my hand as I shifted from 1st to 2nd.
Nice shots of the old gal, Kim.
Nice shots! Red is certainly the color for this car - any other color would make it seem a bland compact car. I’m not a Ford fan but I do like the angular lines of the Fords of that time period.
