Sablynnn, that is such a hard question, both photos are excellent, I cannot decide which one, love them both! I wonder how many takes were needed to get everything so "right"? The lighting and contrast are perfect, and it appears to be natural light from a window on the right. Both the primary subject and the reflection in the mirror are perfect in terms of brightness and contrast. And the alignment with the gold trim on the mirror, your eyes, nose, and mouth are not obstructed. And the photo with the cat, ears, eyes, nose, like the gold trim is not even there. Getting all this together says something that you are serious about your art. I have used mirrors in this manner many times, and I understand the challenges they present. You have mastered it! The highlights in the sheer nightgown add to the beauty. Your hair is stunning! Perhaps you might post downloadable images such that we can admire all the detail. I come back every day, anxious to see more of your treasures! Your work is fabulous!

I see it was posted a while back but new to me. I agree with the composition comments about the 1st but think re-cropping the 2nd to 1 x 1 with the diagonal line formed by the corners of the square mirror along the same diagonal of the cropped exposure will give it more interest. At least give it a try.

As a 2nd option, you could crop closer and take advantage of the reflection, I realize it would crop out your butt, just might be interesting.

I like both because they reflect (pun intentional) two different moods. I personally would have cropped off the top wall to almost the mirror for better composition. Well done for self portraits.
