Here is a pic of my fully trained guard dog. He is from a champion blood line and is very atheltic. He can climb ladders, go thru tunnels, and is a great guard dog. At the time I took this picture I was ready to give him to the first person that walked by. Under his left paw is what is left of my cats kitty litter box. It was a very nice box for the cat with a lid and sanitizer. I was working in the basement and had the door open, I saw something whiz by and heard the cat hissing and growling. (she was in her potty box at the time) The lid to the litter box goes flying the cat goes accross the room the kitty litter goes flying and the dog goes out the door with the bottom part. Well all the commands that I have for the dog went straight out the door with the litter box. I went up to him told him to sit so I could salvage the litter box. At this time the dog decided lets play keep away. When the photo was taken the dog was wanting me to come and get it from him every time I would try, he would pick it up and run. The evil thing that I am married to (wife) thought this was the funnest thing she has ever seen. Me and the dog has made up now not sure if the cat has made up with the dog or not.

What a beautiful dog....those "Agility" dogs have so much energy....they will ware you out before they ware out....I have aa 10 year old male Yellow Lab Grand Champion in Obedience..when he wants to play ball I'm the one chasing him to give me the ball so we can play...I think all his obedience training goes out the window when its play time

Great story and gorgeous dog - he really did a number on that box. I also have a rotten dog (without all the credentials though). She has solved every type of trash can we have tried and also thinks the kitty litter box is her own personal buffet on the rare occasion she can get to it. Dogs are the best!
Wish I had been walking by, he's gorgeous! wonderful subject matter for photos...I'm an over the top dog lover/ enthusiast...so have to ask...is this a black shepherd, or a Belgian Turven or ??
Dirty Dave, THAT's a great story, and with a good photo to back it up! I guess your guard dog was making an emphatic statement, eh? :o)
Good one!
Sorry, cat won't make up yet. Is embaressed, humiliated and pissed off. Tell puppy to stay clear for awhile as retalliation will come.

He is a German shepard. Fantastic guard dog. He was too expensive at first but we finally worked out a deal I did his web photos and his sons wedding for a deep discount. He started out for somekind of agility competition called shuthz hond or something similar. But for some reason they changed and made him a guard dog. I do know his father was imported from Germany.
