These are some of my shots from Monday's Detroit International Fireworks show on the Detroit river with Canada. It is a July 4 tradition as July 1st is also Canadian Independence day.
I shot from the Windsor, Ontario side with the Renaissance Center, the GM building, in the bkg. You can see the three barges in the river from which they were launched.
ISO 200, f22, 8 sec. Nikon 24-120 lens.
One tip. Position yourself upwind as you can see the smoke inundating the shore downwind from my position.
