Yeah ...... I'm not good with high humidity, fortunately our aircon has a dehumidify function, so we can put that on, and as the humidity is decreasing, the house is getting cooler. The humidity doesn't happen often, but when it does, one cannot get cool, and also can't breathe! xoxoxo
We have 2 dehumidifiers in the basement. Some summers both have been running.
I agree with you that heat and humidity is unbreathable.

I feel like that about all of the different places that everyone in this group, lives in. I have put Google Earth, on my phone, but the screen isn't big enough for me to see the places properly; so I am going to put it on my laptop, and have a look at the different places, that everyone is in. That way, I can visit everyone else's regions ..... but not anyone's homes; I think that would be a bit rude, and would also feel like spying; at least it would feel that way, to me; so only visiting the regions, where any of the group lives! xoxoxo

I remember when Google maps streetview came out and we all checked out the views. One of my co-workers saw herself on the streetview as she watched the Google mapping vehicle pass her driveway.
I used the streetview to preview my trip to the east coast so I would know where to turn. It really helped.

Is the Shingles vaccine free in your country? I think every other vaccine is free for children and pensioners, but the shingles one would cost over $100.00; if I wanted to have it. I had shingles when I was 12, and I had it around my waist, where my school uniform seam between the bodice & the skirt sat, and every girl in my class, decided that it was a good time to grab every other girl around the waist, before the girl being grabbed knew what was happening. I asked my mum if I could stay home from school, until the shingles rash was gone; but I don't remember if she let me do that, or not! Thankfully I have never contracted that condition again. There was nothing mum could give me, to stop my clothes rubbing on the rash; so she covered the entire rash, with bright red nail polish (it was the only nail polish she had); I didn't even know that she had nail polish, as I never saw it on her nails; so I don't even know why she had any nail polish! Oh well, another mystery that I will never get an answer too! š¤šš¤£š xoxoxo

I don't think anyone would think for shingles on someone that young.
Did the nail polish help? My brother had the same problem as he had shingles on his sides. First one side, then the other side the second time. SIL bought him some Hawaiian shirts because they were light and flowing and didn't touch his skin as much as regular shirts.

Tippy šæļø must have decided that your yard was much more preferred than the neighbours yard; due to those noisy animals living in that yard; where-as your yard must be much quieter, and there is no dog! How many babies does she have, and does she carry them singly, or multiple, when moving house, and how does she carry them? š¤ xoxoxo
Tippy carries her babies one at a time and races from one nest to another.
I dont' have a picture of her, but I did find a picture of some other squirrel.
I saw Tippy carry 3 black babies out and a black and a gray baby back, so I'm thinking she may have 4 babies, 3 black and 1 gray. That would be the same as her last litter. Tippy keeps her babies with her longer than most squirrel mums. She teaches them to search for food, unlike most of the squirrel mums who chase the babies away when they are pregnant with the next litter, which is why so many squirrels use the bird feeders, cause they dont' know any better.
For my sisters who have gone back to KP, are you using the same account or have you created a new one. I think I found my buddy list and I want to update it if anyone has changed.
I'm going to sign off now. Just enough time to make a cup of tea.
Everyone have a good day and stay safe all you busy people
Sorry for my absence! Trying to get our family reunion plans all set (otherwise known as herding cats) and doing some fun things in the kitchen and ceiling repair.
Focaccia bread ā before and after baking!
Strawberry time: making Jam, sauce, frozen berries for smoothies, strawberry pies, shortcake and cheesecake in our future.
Ceiling repair: because itās so rocky with clay earth here, there are few basements so our furnace/AC unit is in the attic. There is a drip pan for condensation which has a float to signal when itās time to pump out the water through the hose to the gutter outside the house. The float wasnāt working so we had a panful of water leak through the ceiling. Appliance Repairman and ceiling Repairman have been busy. It will be finished today.

We're having pulled pork sandwiches for lunch. We had a southern dinner with pulled pork with homemade bourbon and brown sugar sauce, sweet potatoes and fried okra and cornmeal. It was yummy but the pork loin roast was so big that we are having more of the pulled pork on buns for lunch.
Enjoy your fish, and knitting.
I have not had fried okra in a long time and that sounds really good!
Well I am off to the doctor in a few minutes and then I have to clean the house up todayā¦ā¦we shall see if this happensā¦ā¦I hope June is doing well havenāt seen her post on in in quite a while!

Oh girls itās been so lovely and warm today, for here, 13Cā¦ I didnāt sleep well š“ last night. Woke up at 3.30am and started thinking about my pills š. The stories Iād been given didnāt sit right with me. So at 9.30 I rang the chemist and they reassured me my prescription wasnāt there. So after 10 (cos drs donāt do queries until then) I spoke to a nice lady and said I was worried I only had 3 pills š left, and when Iād asked for my prescription I had over a weeks left. She checked everything up for me and said there was nothing for me, so the prescription tape mustnāt have worked. She suggestedā¦.that she put my order in this morning, and go and talk to the doctor and see if they can get it down to the chemist this evening. I was so grateful š.so Iām hoping I get them tomorrow. These are my happy pills šd no one wants to see me unhappy ā¹ļø.
I called at Asda. This afternoon on route to wendies and got a dozen coffees on offer. Got Albert some šŗ flowers šø and called at the crem before I got to Wendyās. I was later today, Iād had Cassie, and bless her, she canāt work and talk at the same time. She is funny to watch really cos while her mouths going sheās rubbing my counters over and over again, I think š§ she rubbed the oven hob about 4 times, then went in my living room and came back with a duster in her and and dusted my hob. I try not to encourage her with talking but I canāt not do that. Sheās a nice š lass. I donāt think she was in the mood today, thatās ok, neither was I.
Canāt think of anything else. I feel so knackered with the hassle this week. I canāt believe I get all upset š when I wake up and Iām not happy about problems, and letās face it , itās nothing to worry about, but thatās why I take happy pillsā¦.
Stay well, love yawl. Anyone heard from June?

Stuart has an aneurism in his abdomen that is smaller than a pea, but that allows him to get his jabs early.
Will your doctor's office do the jab for you? I'm sure they would agree that you should have it.
Wasn't it nice to be told you are too young?
The week Iām having, I donāt feel like asking the doctors š„¼ haha

Shingles shot is free between 55 and 65. Before and after have to pay. I guess it was decided that age group was most likely to get shingles and should get the shot.
Yes, I had to pay and it was not cheap!

Shouldn't you have had your 3rd shot quite a while ago? I hope you can have it soon! xoxoxo
Yes I should. I have given up and never go out except in a car to meet specific friends. I am slowly becoming a hermit.
