Excellent shot. I looked it up in Sibley’s and agree with whoever called it a Masked Booby. It occurs year around south of Florida and during migration in much of the Caribbean.

A very similar photo I took recently with my Sony A7C with a 85mm f1.8 prime at f5.6, ISO 100, 1/1600sec.
