Yes, I believe that I’ve seen it before. I liked it then and I like it now. I imagine it in b/w as is and then in color with half of that joint gone.

Anyway, nice colorizing. Or was the previous post just desaturated? Nah, probably not if you said you colorized it??

WW: Thanks for your comments. It was a B&W (PlusX) from my Archive of Olde, circa late 70s. My colorizing abilities are marginal so it is a miracle the image turned out as well as it did. I'll have to locate some more colorized photos; I know they are hiding somewhere. -JY

Okay Jim, I’d like to know if you colorized it digitally or with a brush and dyes. In the real old days, and maybe you did this too, we had to colorize b/w prints with dyes and macroscopic paint brushes. It was a real victory when you became just competent at it.

Either way, it’s a good job on your shot.

WW: Digitally. Being a cheapskate I have been using an old copy ( version 8 ) of Paintshop Pro. Does most of what I want. -JT

My mother inlaw did portrait colorization, professionally, back in the day.

Original in color, but a nice companion to yours.
I also did a close crop of ththis, so it's not immediately obvious where the watch is hanging.
