The main problem with gun violence is there is no gun violence. The left brings it out every chance they get, but there is no gun violence. No. Gun. Violence. Violence is a human trait, a human action. There isn't a single inanimate object that can be violent, whether a gun, a hammer, a toaster, a fork, a car, a trampoline or any other object. Only humans can be violent. And humans can and will be violent with most any inanimate object.

We have an ongoing problem because the left by far and some others continue to incorrectly identify the problem and refuse to act on the problem. It doesn't fit their agenda. So to further their agenda they cry over gun violence and demand more laws that will only infringe on the rights of good, honest citizens. But they know that. It follows and promotes their plan for that to happen.

If we want to eliminate most mass violence we have to act against the violent, not their chosen implement.

Put them away in anticipation of them possibly committing a crime?
In the USA there is a presumption of freedom until a crime is committed.
Disarming, registering or otherwise harassing law abiding citizens only raises crime as Chicago proved.
PS, they had 38 people murdered this past weekend in the streets. Not a word about them. Why?

You play with words. There is no “gun violence”? What does that mean? When one does a violent act using a gun, like slaughtering 19 children, that is violence with a gun, or more succinctly and accurately labeled “ gun violence”. The words don’t really matter in this instant case,

No one can disagree, but the hatred, tribal mentality precludes this country from coming together, even when children are being slaughtered. A nice thought though.
