Iphone 13 pro

Id be interested in any user experiences regarding the iphone 13 camera.
I have an rx10m4 and rx100m3 and for whatever reason, excellent though it is I find the rx10m3 is hardly ever used these days.
Mainly due to compatability issues with streaming music to my audio set up at home I traded in my old Huawei P30 pro which although excellent in low light tended to sharpen photos too much for my liking.
Anyway Ive found the iphone 13 to be excellent in every way apart from one glaring omission...it doesnt have any sort of manual mode where you can set the shutter speed to avoid blur etc. To do that you have to buy the Camera +2 app which I find to be not very user friendly and the readout is so tiny that its impossible for me to read the shutter speed settings unless I remember to carry my reading glasses.
Has anybody else had similar problems with the iphone?

I use ProCam for the app that allows me to use the IPhone in manual mode. I am not sure it is better than the app you are using as far as being user friendly. But I don’t have any issues seeing the on screen controls.

Why not use the Sony RX10 IV for the images that require increased shutter speed? I have that camera and an iPhone 13 Pro.

Best iphone app for manual camera is Halide (https://halide.cam). I find it pretty intuitive to use and website has good how-to use info.

Ever notice that these type of sites yak on forever while skirting around any valuable instruction. Most of these are just advertising sites designed to hook you into reading all their comments and eventually selling you something

It's about as good as it gets for the iPhone.

But common sense tells us that if you need more control, trying to do everything on an iPhone touch screen it bound to be frustrating.

I use Lightroom CC Mobile app with my iphone 12 pro max. You can go into "pro" mode and adjust Exp, sec, ISO and WB. You can shoot in raw and edit your photos right in the app.

Yes. I complain every time I think I've found a class that isn't just an "advertisement" for the "real," paid classes. I have been disappointed about 90% of the time. During the worst of covid, some folks who couldn't do their regular, in-person workshops, were kind enough to offer free classes to keep their names out there and keep those of us who could/would not travel interested. For those, I am grateful. The others, who fill my inbox with ads/spam, not so much.
