Did you happen to see where the woman with the gun shot the guy with "AK" at are large graduation party and a mass shooting was stopped ? Probably not, still waiting to see on national news. If it fits the anti gunners agenda it is BIG news, if not, not so much. I guess the anti gunners are not happy some lady with a gun saved a bunch of lives by dropping the pos in his tracks. No surprise though.

Don't wait for a counter argument to your post because the gun grabbers don't have one. It short circuits their brains trying to come up with one. Their position is the pro genocide position.

You are giving to much credit for having a brain. They want to live in a gun free environment they should move to North Korea or China for starters.

Because they know their true intention is to confiscate and ban all firearms.

You know that is not true. (Liar! ... one of your favourite call-outs). No one wants to confiscate all firearms, and it would be impossible to do.

Oh yes they do, that is their intention and we know it because why else would the Lefties give examples of countries that have banned firearms from citizens to compare to the U.S. if that intention was not to ban all firearms from citizens?

Excellent reply. If schools were not gun free zones they wouldn't be such easy targets for lunatics. How many mass shootings have occurred where it is known that most everyone is armed? I'm pretty sure it is ZERO. If you love your children protect them don't make them targets. .

Truth.

Not many incidents occur at FBI headquarters, Police stations, NRA headquarters or National Guard armories . . .

Funny thing.

Banned? Completely? How many? 'Controlled firearms' is probably the most common.

A basic start would be admitting that semi-auto firearms are a big deal and not everyone gets to legally own one.

That still leaves a lot of guns around place for home protection and enjoying 2nd Amendment rights.

I rarely respond to insulting posts, posts that are laced with name calling and condescension, posts that deflect from the topic without relevance, posts containing rhetorical questions that have no answer, questions that are baiting—begging for a an expected response to twist the intent, posts that are replete with nonsensical, irrelevant false bravado, posts that are responding to an article that has not been read and begin insulting the writer, posts that are completely off point, posts that are clearly less than honest in their intent, posts that are mean-spirited, posts that are too stupid to deserve comment, and posts in which my response would fall on completely deaf ears, and is clearly a waste of time. That criteria dismisses my need to respond to many questions—but that is the Attic.
I post articles to incite discussion, not to be insulted and called names. No one has to read them, or comment on their content, or the writer. I assume we are Americans, who love our country, just with different perspective. Happy Memorial Day.

These people are anti-self defense crazy. No tragedy, no amount of carnage, even the dead bodies of children will sway them. It is sickening.

Demonstrating once again a complete ignorance of central European history in the 20th Century in service of lurid gun fantasies. It is insulting and repugnant and just as false as the old meme that Yammato chose not to invade the western US after Pearl harbor because he was afraid of Americans farmers and their shotguns. All lies are in bounds as long s they are in the service of the gun.

When you have no arguments available on the merit on any issue, you reach for distortion, revisionist history and propaganda. Ironic that this is straight from the Goebbels playbook.

Blame the Jews for the Holocaust. Goebbels would be proud.

Well, at least then it would become a contest of skill (quick on the draw, good on the aim, fast trigger pull, steady on the recoil).

What actually surprises me is that in all the discussions so far no one has brought up Hollywood or shoot-em-up video games that glorify gun violence. Oh, I know, the good guy always wins in the end... but not before there is a lot of heart thumping blood pumping action and thrills.

Consensus seems to indicate that other countries with the same movies and video games but different gun laws don't have our problem. How about your country? I doubt it bans video games and movies that are OK here, but your gun violence rate is far below ours.

Really? The second amendment with virtually no regulations seemed to work well for the first 200 years of our existence as a country. We had zero random mass shootings before LBJ and Ted Kennedy's War on Poverty. Why don't you research the connection to that?

Until June 2010 the 2nd amendment wasn't interpreted as saying what SCOTUS currently says it does.

I have always said and believed that when it comes to gun laws and gun violence the US in unique in the world. It becomes a matter of opinion whether that is desirable or repugnant.

It seems you are the one ignorant of history. Are you going to show your ignorance for all the world to see and state that the Jews were NOT DISARMED?
You never saw me quote Yammato but did he invade the US? No he did not except for a little incursion into Alaska.
So maybe that dissuaded him maybe not irregardless of the quote.
And how dare you out and out LIE and claim I blamed the Jews for the Holocaust. I hereby challenge you to put up or shut up. I will donate $5000, no I take that back. I made a little extra money this year. I will donate $10,000 to the charity of your choice if you can show me a quote, a picture, anything where I blamed the Jews. Everything I posted put the blame squarely where it belonged. On the Nazi scum who committed the atrocities. And if you can't you must donate just the $5000 to my charity. I await eagerly your response if you're brave enough.

Oh please. Spare me the pretentiousness and condescension. As if you're standing above the fray with noble intent.
I have seen you throw the crazy word around to respond to people. All the qualifiers you listed seem like nothing but excuses to avoid answering posts that you can't refute.
Happy Memorial Day.
