Need Help With Canon 80D

I’m hoping one of you can help me — somehow I got my Canon switched over to video — and can’t figure how to get out of it.

On the back of the camera is a button just to the right of the view finder marked with Start / Stop. It has a switch that flips between Live View (still photos) and Movies. See pages 27 / 256 / 294 of your EOS 80D User Manual for additional details.

Glad to help. The PDF can be downloaded from the Support Section on USA.Canon.com. Then, you just have to remember where the file is saved. Consider at least onto all your computers and your phone for easy access.

LOL and thank you Dan, sjcassidy! For the button / switch involved, that's the same location on most EOS DSLRs on most bodies. I've mistakenly switched to video numerous times over the years, as well as purposefully. The page numbers are found from the PDF manual, most I have downloaded already for quick reference.

At your favorite bookseller or library, look for David Busch's book "Canon EOS 80D".
I found it very helpful and not technical jargon filled tome!
