The previous posting of this image showed a lot of interest in the reflection in the foreground.
Based on those comments it then seemed to me it would be fun to take that image, flip it vertically and mess around with contrast and other stuff and see if we could come up with another kind of image, all for fun. Here we see the result.

Interesting, and personally, I like it!

try cloning the 'real' leg out of the shot, but it's a good piece of creative work, I like it!

At times our memories of a person, thing, or event are vague reflections of reality. That was the thought your image envoked. She is perhaps the girl we dated in high school, but just a memory of the beach and fun.

A memory well done Jim your part of a photo is more than the whole.

Nice! What if you placed the real figure over this and blended it in?

That is a real piece of artwork! The abstract shapes create incredible interest.

Fotoartist:

I gave it a try but my old editor didn't quite come up to the task.
So what I did to see if your idea would work was to make a same-size copy of each image on paper and superimpose them and hold that composite up to a light to observe what was going on. With the original ("nice") one on top and the reflection version behind that, it was surprisingly nice / fun. How about the visitors to this page give it a try? If need be I can engage the "download" button and reload both of the images. WITH download capable this time; forgot before.
