These are some shots of the lunar eclipse from my backyard in Newport News, VA. While we have significant light pollution, I think these came out pretty well. I used a Sony a7iii and the Sony 70-200 f/4 lens on a tripod. IBIS and OSS turned off. Most were taken with the camera's intervelometer.
I switched between ISO 100 and long shutter speeds and a higher ISO and faster shutter speeds. I think the faster shutter speeds were a little better as the long shots tended to be a bit soft and blurry.
I think my favorite is the last one where you can see some stars around the Moon and it's framed by the trees.

Nice work. Thanks for sharing. I agree that the last photo is my favorite - nice detail on the moon for 200mm and the small star trails are proof of the longer exposure. Very good.
We had clouds for the day/night before the eclipse. And I feared that weather would prevent enjoying seeing and shooting it. Haven't reviewed my shots yet.
Thanks. To paraphrase Martin Brody (Roy Scheider) in the movie Jaws, "I think we're gonna need a bigger lens."
Good job with your photos👍
Nice shots. I particularly liked the fourth.

Me, too. All it took was some brush work in Lightroom to let the trees show through just a little.
