Hi Group,
This summer I'm revamping my Zoom & livestreaming studio. The plan is to add 4 more cameras and I already know the Sony RX100 M3 does everything I need but the price on the used market is much higher than the original or Mark 2. My questions are:
1. Can the RX100 or the RX100 M2 provide "clean HDMI" out?
2. Can either camera's live views be set to a timespan of more than 30 minutes (the M3 has an infinity setting)? I know the record time is limited to 30 minutes but often the live view can be set to infinity or as long as the battery lasts. I use dummy AC batteries on all my cameras so that would not be an issue.
I'm hoping someone on the group has an answer based on their experience with either of these cameras. Thanks for your thoughts and have a great day. Take care & ...

Whatever info you can't get directly from the Sony website you should be able to find in the manuals for those cameras (which you can download from the Sony website).
I have an original RX100. If I can find a cord, I think I can check the clean HDMI for you. How would I check the "30 minute live view"?
Hi Bill,
I don't have Sony cameras (yet) but on my Nikons, I had to go to the setup menu under "timers," "monitor off delay," and then set "live view" to infinity. I can get clean HDMI out of my Lumix camera by pressing the "Disp" button on the back of the camera. Thank you for taking the time to check this out. Take care & ...
Al,
I did not find a useable HDMI cable. I'm sorry I failed the test!
