This particular poster does it often.
The fact that the admin. will move it if he sees it, or it is reported, means images should not be posted here. He should probably be posting them to the astrophotography group where it can be appreciated by those who are into astro.

It would also work in the Gallery.
Many people don't see that there is a pick list of which forum to post on comes up when one clicks Create Post.
What seems to be the default selection is the last forum item one is viewing when one clicks Create Post.
Many are not cognizant to which forum they are posting, as they evidently don't read that part.

When I create a post I go to the appropriate forum and create it there...no muss, no fuss.
P.S. - I see it has been moved to the gallery.

How is an image of a Galaxy, captured very well in my opinion, any different than any other subject? I believe there are some in the Gallery section that may not subscribe to the astro section that appreciate seeing these elusive objects.
