These images were taken from a section of Oak tree bark.
How many X magnifications are these photos? These are interesting photos showing variety of the mix. Britannia says, a world of mixtures of fungi and algae acting together. But they did leave off that these are traps set up by Ticks... I recall laying down to take a photo of a beautiful Lichen formation as it consumed a rock... I later discovered that I had ticks head to toe, especially "where the sun don't shine"!!!

The magnification is between .9 and 1:1. The slope of the hill just would not permit a steady enough tripod for higher magnification.
