You miss the point Denny, there are a lot of things that slow commerce down, permitting is just one example, there is nothing that the feds can do to stop the governor from inspecting trucks, it is wholly within the state's powers to do so. Personally I am glad to see republican governors fighting back.

Customs Officers? Inspecting trucks. They don't have time for thorough inspections. Texas truckers say that trucks from Mexico are terrible. That's why Abbott used the truck inspection as leverage for security. It is a legitimate issue.
