Adobe issued an update to Photoshop CC this morning. I must have not been the only one having issues with the first 23 update. At any rate, things are as they should be now.

Every time there is an update, someone claims to have issues and warns everybody of....

NOTHING.

One incident does not make an issue.

If many folks report a single issue, there is something to address. Anything else is a joke, sorry.

You can try to pass for one who knows what he is talking about'. It just does not wash.

I have been an early adopter of Adobe and never had a single issue other than those I created by not paying attention.

My apologies dear sir for I did not know I was conversing with a Photoshop Savant. I am honored that you took the time to have a discussion with a mere mortal as myself. "I have been an early adopter of Adobe and never had a single issue other than those I created by not paying attention."
That's an impressive statement for sure.

"If many folks report a single issue, there is something to address".
Let me tell you what I know.

The other day I updated my Photoshop CC subcription to the latest version of Photoshop.
I immediately started having a problem. "See my earlier Post".

I tried everything I could think of to fix the problem but nothing worked.

I made a call to the Adobe Help Desk (please forgive me my Photoshop Savant friend for not calling you first but I worship at the altar of the True Photoshop Gods) and we discussed the problem. He tried several things and couldn't correct the problem. He told me that "Other" people have been having the same problem and that they would address it on the next update. I took his comment to mean I wasn't the only " ONE" that was having this problem. Sure enough, it was a known issue on the Adobe Help board. Within two days, they updated PS and my problem was solved.

When I made my intial post I wasn't screaming the "SKY IS FALLING". I was merely giving other mortals a heads up if they experienced the same problem. You could have ignored my post. You could even have offered your esteemed Photoshop wisdom on us photoshop/computer challenged mortals. Instead, you chose to challenge me with your condescending remarks about what I actually experienced. It's chest thumpers like you that give the UHH a bad name.

Oh and by the way, when I had the Adobe Help desk on the line. I asked him if he ever heard of a Photoshop Guru named: Rongnongno? He said, "Who?". I rest my case. :-)

Do you even notice no one has typed anything?

Threads like this are a dime a dozen.

Could be nobody dares to enter a conversation with the Photoshop Savant, Rongnongno for fear of getting chastised in public. Personally, I could give a rat's ass if anybody responds here. My point has been made and it's time to move on.

Does that mean if no one reports an issue it didn't happen?

I was also having issues when the first 23 came out, both in photoshop and bridge. I just go back to a previous version until Adobe corrects all the issues. This has worked for me.

Fstop12 I loved your kind response to Rongnongno. Thank you!
I have found in the past, some UHH members are rude, nasty and think they know it all. It is
nice to see someone with a kind response.

Very glad to know your PS problem has been cleared up. Rongnongno's response to my post was unwarranted. I could not let it go unchallenged. For the most part, I believe everyone here in the Hog is here to learn, ask questions, discuss and behave in a civil manner.

Yes, everyone, whether they are new to photography or not, should be treated with respect and kindness. There is enough anger & crap going on in this world.
Thank you again for your kindness and help with ps. Maybe I will now download the update.

You think way too much about yourself.

Warnings like yours (and there are many) mean strictly nothing. The only thing it does is create a reaction identical to the guy crying 'wolf'. Which in the long run may create a serious issue of trust.

So far all the 'wolf!!!' screams, like yours, are unwarranted and reflect poor understanding on how to upgrade and prepare for it, not on the product quality.

As to 'Other folks have the same issue' that is a typical answer from tech support in almost all companies. It avoids from telling clients what they really think, which usually is not flattering to the caller. When there is a recognized issue, the techs are not only aware of it, they have an answer to it. This was the case for ACDSee not long ago about the instability when scanning a directory that has many GIFs in it. (Still not fully fixed, by the way)

Also, if you read threads over issues with software, they are usually solved by simple fixes offered by the knowledgeable UHH members. Most of these issues are created by lack of information, frustration and basically not being able to deal with a computer. Like cars these things need regular maintenance.

You think way too much about yourself. br br Warn... (show quote)

"You think way too much about yourself." Ha, so in addition to your Omnipotent Photoshop Savant powers, you have the ability to Psyco analyse another person's ego. My only question I put to you is this:

When I first posted the issue I was having about Photoshop's new upgrade, why with all your infinite Photoshop powers, didn't you offer some help or suggestions that I might try to solve the issue? You could have tried to help me, or you could have just ignored the post altogether. No, with your esteemed intelligence, you chose to attack me with your derogatory remarks. Forgive me all knowing one, (making this remark on bended knee and bowed head), isn't the UHH a place where people come to learn, ask questions, have civil discussions about Photography and worldly issues? That's my understanding of what the UHH is all about. Your decision to berate me on the forum served no purpose. With that being said, I leave you with this link: :-)
