With many of the YouTube videos I get this Playback ID error message. I was hoping someone on the UHH forum could explain why this is happening. I think it began happening after I installed Norton 360 but I cannot be sure.
I am including a screen shot of the message.
Thanks in advance for any help, FiddleMaker

Have you contacted Norton about this?

Have not yet contacted Norton because I have spoken to them in the past about other issues and I have difficulty understanding what they are saying becasue I always get stuck with someone from India. Bummer. Also, I am a tad hard of hearing which makes it worse, I guess.

Is there a system restore point function available?

Yes, and when I run it, it always fails. It is definitely time to trash this Dell and get an iMac.
Most every day I now need to sign in as Administrator and run: "sfc /scannow" but I shouldn't have to do this almost every day.

Don't know what computer/OS you're using, but I had to get off Norton years ago because of all the errors it caused on my MAC

I watch lots of YouTube, and I've never seen that. I suspect it's a problem on your end.

Does it happen all the time?
Maybe you can deactivate the most recent programs you installed.
Try a different browser.

I can agree with you. It seems all the "help" people are somewhere overseas and speak English as as if they have only begun to learn how to speak it. The decreased hearing acuity is of no help and I don't care how much you pay for hearing aids, they do not eliminate any ringing or other noises and do little to improve clarity of sounds.

Yes, I think it will come down to that.

Jerry, yes -I am sure the problem is at my end. I may uninstall all this Norton stuff and get a virus protection app from another vender.

I am using a Dell XPS 7760 All-in-one running Windows10. Have had nothing but problems with it from day one. To fix all the registry problems, I run "sfc /scannow" as administrator. That works for a couple of days or so and then I need to run it again.
