Several years ago I was with my then camera group and we were taking light trails of cars in North Adelaide. I was using an 8 second exposure. After taking a few shots, I took my camera off the tripod and turned to talk to some people in my group. Unknowingly, I accidentally pressed the shutter and as I talked the camera waved around all over the place.
This was the result, I like it despite being a "flop"...

Hello mate, I looked at your "bio" to find your name, and saw that you suffered a spinal injury! I also had one (motorbike accident), years ago, though probably not as serious as yours. Anyhoo, all I really wanted to say was that a surprising number of my personal favorite shots were "happy accidents"! So keep on shooting, and keep on sharing, stay safe and have a great day,
Ray.

Have you got Italian heritage, talking with your hands. Looks like Italian speech.
Great pic though, jokes aside.
Now weβre all going to be making this mistake!
I like it too, Ron! I do something similar on purpose! In the Fall I find a particularly colorful tree, stick the camera into the leaves, use a slow shutter speed and twist, turn, push and pull. Usually with a very wide angle lens. Most don't work but every now and then I get a real keeper!

I think it's a spectacular abstract - and it's a real eye-catcher πππ§‘ππ
Well done photograph and not a flop at all, just different and unexpected. It turned out great. I don't know why as I am definitely not a musician other than turning on a car radio but this makes me think of a musical score. I am sure many people will see different things in your photo.

I like it, Ron. How many times have accidents led to discoveries?
I have found that putting accidents like that one through LR and PS, occasionally going back and forth between PS offerings, often results in interesting abstracts. If you happen to enjoy abstract art, which I do, it is both fun and interesting and sometimes results in something worth putting on the wall. I suspect others may have had the same experience.
