Nude no. 238
Occasionally I liked to create a photo that told a story, real or not, credible or not. A fantasy but cute or ironic or, well, whatever I felt like. Just a nice image with something to tell. This is one of them (posed superbly by Katie and Laraina:
Scene: The front door of my studio.
Time: Late for work (me).
Situation: I arrive to work late and find my two studio rats and, at the time, favorite models waiting for me, having already been to wardrobe and makeup and ready to work. They are just a little peeved at me because they have been waiting for about a half a pack of cigarettes and there is no ashtray and only one chair and magazine.
Motivation: Get them into the studio and comfortable and get those focking lights on with a quickness.
And...ACTION!

Nice rats. Don't they deserve a key?
Interesting story. Nice models. Really impressive door.

Great story telling. The young ladies do a great job, of getting the point across, that someone has a lot of making up to do. Love the picture!
Bet you won't be late again!

Itβs a bit of a joke there, you see in my Tao of photography, wardrobe is just the opposite, yeah?
Really, the whole of it isnβt to be taken seriously, right. Itβs a fantasy world.
