2022 is an excellent update to Photoshop Elements. I found the bundle on Amazon that includes both Photoshop Element and Premier Elements - both are 2022 updates. And the price for both programs was $99 with no shipping charge and I'm not an Amazon Prime member. Because I've had past problems when loading these Adobe programs, I was a little nervous when my bundle arrived. Without taking off what was left of version 15 on my computer, I tried loading both Photoshop and Premiere Elements. Went beautifully! Clean install on both. And both have enough of my usual way of doing things - and I use these programs a lot, including video editing - but there are a number of new features that I haven't explored yet. I then uninstalled my version 15. Congrats to Adobe for doing good work on this update...and, to me, Amazon's price was the deal maker for me. Besides loading on my desktop PC, I also loaded both on my Microsoft Surface Pro 7...and I found both work on my Surface too. Users are allowed to put both programs on two computers.

Thanks for the info. I'm currently running PSE 15 & wondered how an upgrade might work.

Why buy more software, unless you need a different OS (Mac vs Windows)? Just install PSE-2020 on that second computer. Adobe publishes the PSE software is available for two computer concurrent installations.

Last version of PSE I bought, 2019, I believe will allow me to put it on three computers. Also, If I would buy a new computer system, I could remove it from the current computer and get a replacement of the same version for the new computer.

It doesn't "upgrade" anything. Rather, a completely new software title installs as unique and distinct from the other PSE-15 software.

But for why, if PSE-15 meets your needs. PhotoShop, and kid sister PS Elements, are very very mature software titles. The single greatest difference in each year's new title is support for new RAW files in the preceding 12ish months. Adobe lists out the features of the new software version. You can review and decide if $80 to $100 is worth those features where otherwise it's exactly the same software you have currently. Only if something in your environment changed, such as a computer OS that won't run an old software title, do you need to buy more PSE. A new camera that you want to shoot in RAW might be another such environmental change.

I have and use Elements 2020 on one computer and am considering getting Elements 2022 for another computer, but I have read that there are download problems and that the platform is unstable. Any Elements user who has experience with Elements 2022, can you let me know if you encountered problems and if so what did you need to do to resolve them?

I've had no problems with 2022. Do you have a particular reason for wanting to use it on your other computer? You can download and install it on your other computer, but I've seen no major differences between it and the 2020 version that I also have. (In my case, I needed to update for a class that was going to be based on 2022, but for what I do, I really haven't seen anything we've done with 2022 that I couldn't also have done with 2020.) If you already own 2020, you can download it from Adobe on your other computer and activate it with the serial number you already have for 2020 (your license covers legal use on two computers).

I have Elements 2022, upgraded from Elements 14. No problem at all. All my plugins (Topaz, NIK) work fine. Adobe Camera Raw for Photoshop CC keeps updating several times a week even though I don't use Photoshop CC. Other than that, clear sailing!
