This isn't my particular genre of the Art, but what the hell, Photography is still Photography, and it was a paid gig! (With a few brew-skis at the end)

Last week a friend of mine told me of an Artist that was going to call me. He had lost his portfolio a while back, and need a new one. The Artist called, and I accepted the shoot since I was recommended as a Photographer.

The shoot went very well so I thought you all might like a behind the scenes look! (Maybe not)

The Artist had 16 pieces he wanted photos of. All of the photos were to printed @ 11x14. He only wanted them on a flash drive for now, which made less work for me!

Any way, here are four photos of behind the scene at the shoot, and one shot of the finished product I delivered to him. (I really got a good impression to the artwork)

The shots of the Artist were an after thought. I kept looking around the rooms in between shots of his art work, and I kept looking at this one window. But the light coming through the window was dreary at best.
I used two speedlites, gelled deep blue, and bounced off of the ceiling, and one speedlite on the porch gelled with Oklahoma Yellow to bring a nice light in through the window.
I knew at the time I wanted a B&W shot, and I wanted it to look somewhat old. When I processed the raw files, I converted the shot to B&W, added an "Old B&W Preset" in ON1 Raw, added a layer mask to let the "Yellow Window Light" spill into the B&W shot.

All the PP was done in ON1 Raw 2022.
The camera used: Nikon D750
Lens used: Nikon 24-120 f/4

I believe you can fill in the rest of the story as you view the attached shots.

I hope you enjoy!!!

Thanks,
Boone.
