Reading the article, it appears the trigger is the disruption of the on-the-thin-edge food chain. Ukraine is a vast wheatland, and Russia is a major petro supplier. You can "thank Biden" for the problem in the mind of some. Why?, because if Trump had been president and continued with his disruption of NATO and his ring kissing of Pope Putin, then Ukraine would have been handed peacefully to the reforming USSR; no war, no food chain disruption... perhaps!?
So, the Thank Biden is not a complementary Thanks, it is a placing of blame thanks. For example, you can "thank" Joe for that flat tire, he did not put air in like I told him to; accusation and the placing of blame.

Just because Trump said it's not a bad thing to 'get along with Putin', you and the shallow simple-minded media are aghast at this. Trump didn't invent "Speak softly and carry a big stick", but he was smart enough to use that approach which has worked in the past and under him it led to a peaceful term on the world stage.
