The day was beautiful but that made for a rather boring blue sky until the storm clouds began to arrive toward the end of the day. I hope to drive back up to Mt Vernon in the next couple of weeks and hope to get sunrise and sunset pics. Has anyone got a few favorite spots where to shoot sunrise and sunsets at the various gardens?

Excellent work!!! As a resident of Skagit County, I don't feel there are necessarily any "great spots" to shoot adjacent to to the tulip fields. That said, there are dramatic skies visible from the fields depending on the weather patterns around sunset. Feel free to PM me and I can share with you the places I've found over the last decade.
Love the skies and the exposure on the second image and great comp. for the first IMHO.
