My favorite years were the 76-77 but I certainly wouldn't turn down one of the ones in your photos.

thanks Dodie, I think my favorite years were the '61 and '62, but I wouldn't turn down any if gifted. Not even the first year, 1953 shown here, which was a very different car than the following years:

Had one in black. Sold it with a new rag in ‘76 for $2600 to put towards a house.
Still have the house and some good memories!
the closest I got was a few opportunities to drive a 64 or 65 (don't remember) fuelie that a friend owned, outrageous! I can still remember him screaming "shift SHIFT" as I was pulling around 6 grand+ in first gear...ahh, the memories! A Marina Blue ragtop.

Yes, they were a lot of fun. My last one was a metallic green L-82 coupe with a decent cam and ‘73 exhaust system with no cats. I use my brother’s 2011 Grand Sport when I visit once a year in Md. A rocket ship on wheels capable of 200mph plus…not with me in it or driving!
