We arrived in Prague yesterday. Exhausted as you would expect. Took a short nap then went to dinner. Retired early and got up early to face the day.

Had a good touring day. However I had one disaster. I put my lens cap in my pants pocket. At lunch I put it on the camera. When we started up again I put it in my jacket pocket. That was a mistake. When I went to put the cap on later it was gone. Bummer. Hopefully I run into a camera shop somewhere along the line.

BEWARE: Prague is famous for pickpockets! Carry all you valuables in the inside pickets. We took a Danube River cruise several years back and really enjoyed Prague. Be sure and check out the churches. Enjoy. It was our best cruise ever.

Quick story: I lost the lens cap for one of my Olympus lenses on a trip in Italy...a lens that I didn't use much except for travel. I never replaced the lens and when I was packing for my next trip to Italy a year later I didn't have time to get a replacement. When we arrived in Italy, on the way to the hotel we stopped at a cafe for a coffee and on the floor was an Olympus lens cap for the exact size of the lens that I needed.

Lol. Probably not. Wasn’t around people other than the group.

I have several pairs of pants that have zippered pockets in the rear and have hidden zippered pockets inside the front pockets. One of them even has a small zippered pocket on the inside of the pants to keep extra cash, a credit card, etc. They are also made from a nylon blend that is quick-drying so that I can wash them in the sink and hang them in the room to dry. I would have to be in a coma for someone to take something from my pockets without my noticing it!

I definitely did not get my pocket picked. After I put the cap into my coat pocket the cap fell out

Why worry about a lens cap, if You use a protective filter?

No filter. Probably won’t worry about it I’m careful and have a sun shade on it.

Visited the Czech and Prague as part of an international MBA course. Professor arranged guided tour. The guide said to me before we departing that tourism will be the death of Prague. I did not understand, until after the tour started.

Prague is a beautiful city. A friend of my Dad's, who has been a great historian of Michigan football, moved to Prague with his Czech wife and had a slew of kids. You should be able to get some nice photos.
