How fast are they going? The video that follows - on the Isle of Man - shows up to 330 Kph, about 200 mph. A little faster than my speeds on my Honda Click 125!!! And my wife says I go too fast - at a top of only about 50 mph!!! - but at 94, most here aren't even here!!! I think the fastest I've ever been on a bike probably was only a little over 100 mph on my Honda 500 Four - many years ago. And on a scooter, my Honda Reflex, at about 80 mph, but that was my bike just before I moved to the Philippines, 6 years ago.

I like watching some of those 'American reacts' videos on You Tube. Most seem gobsmacked that is even allowed to happen. It probably wouldn't in the U.K., but the I.O.M. and Northern Island still enjoy pure Road Racing.

Glad to see Norton still running the race. I owned a 1973 Norton 850 Commando for 31 years. They advertised it would 125 mph, so that where I took it.

It looks very scary to me. Not so much in the built up areas but in the countryside so much could go wrong. A deer or dog crossing the road or something unforeseen like the one shot that showed a lot of paper being blown into the road. I think to travel at that speed you would have to be very skilled and a little crazy.

322kmh equals 200mph Lauren.

The "Superbikes" are well
over 200mph for extended periods.
It's a 37 mile per lap circuit
that's bumpy and notoriously hard to learn.

Lol... not paper Bridges... it's some of the wreckage (and rider) of a bike that crashed.

Here's a view looking back:

The "Isle of Man TT Race" is one of the most dangerous motorcycle races. There are many who cheat death, however, death always wins in the end.

When a race driver crashes in a 200-mph race, there are all types of state-of-the-art safety features to help his odds of survival. When a motorcycle rider crashes at 200-mph, all he has is his leather pants to save his ass.

And as my paramedic son once opined, "When a motorcycle crashes at high speed the only difference the helmet makes is an open, or closed casket."

Many years ago, I got knocked off the back of a BSA 650, and we were only doing @ 20MPH and slowing; my buddy had anticipated the moron at the stop sign. He pulled away from a stop sign without looking. I had on leather, and a helmet, and I was still sore for a week.
