Hi! This is my first post. I take self portraits whenever I want to create something but no one else is around for me to capture. :-)
Nice image with a nice feel to it. Self portraits are not easy, so well done. Welcome to the forum.

For your first post, you have done an excellent job. Self portraits are among the most difficult to achieve a good image. You have done very well. I hope you will post more.
Great first post. Very nicely done.

Very nice job on a difficult photo. Everything looks very good

Lovely image. Did you use the self-timer or a clicker? I also think the cattail is distracting.
Be well! Ed
Sablynnn I assure you that if I took a similar self-portrait that the comments would not be positive. The email body has beautifully sculptured curves as does yours. Your semi-silhouette lighting is excellent.

Nice to see something new and fresh, very nicely done, and welcome to the UHH.

Pretty bold for being your first post here on UHH. Would like to see more of your work. You need a photographer. It's hard to setup for a shot and then scamper into it before the shutter releases automatically.

I love the photo, it has a soft dreamy feel to it. The only thing that I find off is your arms, the pose looks uncomfortable to me, your shoulders look tense. If I had been posing you I would have had you reach forward and grasp the headboard.
